Investing in Michigan: Investing to Grow
The Glencoe Capital Michigan Opportunities Fund focuses on recapitalizations, buyouts, and growth equity investments in successful, growing companies in the State of Michigan. This fund will focus on generating attractive investment returns, seeking to identify and invest in companies that show the promise of future growth
and/or where operational improvements will create additional value. The Fund will focus on lower middle-market companies with EBITDA in excess of $5 million and with minimum equity capital requirements of $10 million.
Glencoe Capital has a long history of completing successful buyouts in Midwest-based companies, including in the state of Michigan. The firm also has a long-time relationship with the State of Michigan Retirement Systems, which has been a limited partner or co-investor in the Glencoe Capital Partners funds since 1993. Glencoe's Michigan Opportunities Fund will be headquartered in a new office in the Detroit area.
