Glencoe Capital is a private equity firm focused on lead-sponsored acquisitions in the middle market. The firm was founded in Chicago by David S. Evans in 1993; since then, Glencoe Capital has successfully invested over $450 million in middle-market businesses across North America.

Glencoe Capital currently manages the portfolio companies in its third fund, Glencoe Capital Partners III, and is actively investing its fourth fund, the Glencoe Capital Michigan Opportunities Fund. Historically, the firm has specialized in acquisitions of companies in business and media services, specialty chemicals, financial services and insurance, food manufacturing and services, and other niche manufacturing industries. The Michigan Opportunities Fund invests across a full range of industries.

Glencoe Capital's parent, Leoville Holdings, is an alternative investment manager with over $1.2 billion under management. Leoville Holdings comprises several alternative asset management firms, including Glencoe Capital, its lead-sponsor buyout firm, and Stockwell Capital, its private equity co-investment firm, as well as related alternative investment management services to institutional investors, pension funds, and private investors.
